Please read this Privacy Policy carefully to understand our practices regarding your information. By using our Services, you acknowledge the collection and use of your information as described in this policy.

Information We Collect

We collect information that you choose to provide to us and information that is automatically generated when you use our Services.

1. Information You Provide Directly

  • Account and Profile Information: When you register on Kayaya, we collect your email address (used for Magic Link authentication) and profile details.
  • Creator Portal Information: If you use our Creator Portal, you may choose to submit your name, country, social media platform handle, channel URL, and followers/avg views metrics.
  • Optional Contact and Communication Fields: Providing a Discord username/ID, Telegram username, or phone number is entirely optional. These are optional contact/profile fields where applicable to facilitate communication but are not required to access our Services.
  • Communications: We collect information you provide when you contact us for support, send queries to support@kayaya.co, or otherwise communicate with us.

2. Information We Automatically Collect

When you access or use the Services, we may collect certain information automatically:

  • Usage and Device Data: We collect diagnostic and usage information, such as IP addresses, browser type, device information, operating system, pages visited, and timestamps.
  • Public Platform Metrics: For verification of campaign participation, we collect publicly visible platform statistics associated with your submitted content URLs (such as views, likes, and comments on platforms like TikTok, YouTube, or Instagram). We do not collect transactional telemetry, attribution telemetry, real-time performance tracking data, or other advanced tracking metrics that our platform does not currently operate.

How We Use Information

We use the personal information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To Provide and Maintain our Services: Operating the platform, managing creator campaigns, matching creators with advertising campaigns, and processing creator signups.
  • Account Authentication: Delivering Magic Links to authenticate your login sessions securely.
  • Campaign Verification: Reviewing public video URLs to confirm campaign deliverables meet requirements and calculate rewards based on eligible public views.
  • Communication: Responding to support queries, resolving disputes, and providing update notifications.
  • Platform Security: Detecting and preventing fraud, abuse, fake engagements (such as bots or click farms), and ensuring the integrity of the platform.
  • Legal Compliance: Complying with applicable laws, regulations, audit requirements, or legal processes.

Sharing Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share your information only in the following circumstances:

  • With Clients (for Campaigns): If you apply for or participate in a Campaign, the Client (game studio, developer, or agency) managing the Campaign will see your creator profile information, channel details, submitted video URLs, and associated performance metrics (views, likes, comments).
  • With Service Providers: We may share information with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating our Services, such as database hosting, email delivery, and payout processing (e.g., PayPal, Wise, or blockchain network tools). These providers are contractually obligated to use your data only as necessary to perform their services for us.
  • For Legal Reasons: We may disclose your information if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect the safety or rights of any person, or prevent fraud or security issues.
  • Business Transfers: If Kayaya undergoes a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, your personal information may be transferred as part of the transaction. We will notify you of any change in ownership or use of your personal information.

We take reasonable, appropriate security measures to safeguard your information during these transfers.
